Recent Project - Sellafield Photography

We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded a 3-year contract to supply photographic services to Sellafield Ltd. The majority of work will be on or around the Sellafield site and will include Industrial, Portrait, PR and community-based Photography. We are delighted that the contract has been awarded to a local business and we are looking forward to working with Sellafield Ltd for what will undoubtedly be a very exciting three years.
Recent Project- Joss by Keith Richardson

Following on from the success of Ivver Sen and its achievements at the Lakeland Book of the Year awards, Keith Richardson has recently released his latest book ‘Joss – The life and times of the legendary fell runner and shepherd Joss Naylor. Once again Walker Ellis Photography and Design were asked to design the book. River Greta Writer commissioned Walker Ellis Photography & Design to design and produce Joss early in 2009. The book explores the life of Joss Naylor, his childhood and upbringing, through to the man and his achievements.

Our new website is finally live. After some consideration it was decided to completely overhaul the Walker Ellis Associates website with an easier and more consistent navigation, more graphical elements and based around the Content Management System we also use with our clients.
Recent Project - M74 Completion

We have been commisioned by the Interlink M74 JV team to undertake the photography for the M74 completion in Glasgow. This is Scotland's single largest construction project costing some £445 million. We are currently providing monthly ground and aerial progress photography and have 2 time lapse cameras in position for a forthcoming bridge launch.

Walker Ellis have played an important role in the development of my publishing business River Greta Writer. They were initially involved in designing the excellent logo for the company. Much more significant, however, was their contribution to the overall design of my first two books under the River Greta Writer banner. The first, 'Ivver Sen', won The Lakeland Book of the Year Award 2009. The second, 'Joss', only published a few weeks ago, is already the subject of critical acclaim. Both publications have been commended for the quality of their design.
