This month has also seen us busy with a big PR Event for Castrol in Cumbria.  International firm M-Sport managed the event as part of their commitment to the Castrol sponsorship deal for the World Rally Championship.

Guests from all over the World attended the two day event which took place across two locations, Greystoke Forest and Rowrah Race track.

James worked alongside Castrol's London based photographer Moe Kafer covering the event.

"It's great that these events are held locally and encouraging that such a global company seeks out local skills to support their coverage.  We've done work for M-Sport in the past and they recommended us to Castrol. There's always a risk when you try someone new, but with our experience and the recommendations they were confident that we could deliver."

The highlights  were a drive experience with Belgian driver, Thierry Neuville, who drives for Qatar World Rally Team for M-sport.  James met the 2013 World Rally Championship contender, Thierry at the entrance of the forest, he kindly offered James some navigational tips on finding the event!

The Race2Recovery team were also on hand to give guests a once in a life time experience in their Bowler Wildcat.   The Race2Recovery are a team of volunteers, racing to inspire those who are injured, disabled by being the first team of predominantly injured servicemen to complete the Dakar Rally in South America, January 2013.  Captain, Tony Harris shared his experience and driving ability with guests.  Having been injured in Afghanistan in 2009, he'd suffered injuries including a below the knee amputation, he took part in the Dakar Rally to inspire others and show that amazing challenges can still be achieved.  He is one of the founding members of R2R.

It's not all work, work, work for photographer, James,

"As a huge fan of Land Rover, I was delighted to have the opportunity for a quick spin.  These guys have experienced more than most, it's a staggering achievement to compete in the Dakar Rally, I'm ashamed to admit I felt a little fragile after a circuit of Greystoke, I won't be putting my entry in anytime soon!"

At Rowrah in West Cumbria the guests were given a thrilling drive in a selection of Rally cars under the instruction of Elfyn Evans, FIA WRC Academy Champion and British rally driver, Mathew Wilson.
