Flying First

This week saw the team trialling a new aerial mapping service.  Walker Ellis Photography & Design are leading  the way by being the first and only photographic company in the UK to invest in ground breaking, award winning aerial, imaging and mapping technology. On Monday the team set to work on one of their current projects the Highways Agency's A1 Dishforth to Barton Improvement scheme with joint venture Carillion and Morgan Sindall.  With the SwingletCAM we can capture high-resolution aerial images using GPS guidance and from these we have the ability to process into geo-referenced orthosmosaics and digital elevation models (DEMs).
